The requisition is created when you need to hire one or more people in the company.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, before creating a job and starting the recruitment process, there is another first step: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">filling out the job requisition form and receiving internal approvals, if needed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usually, team managers create and submit job requisitions by filling in all the necessary information and sending the request. However, they have different purposes and formats.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A job<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is published on the careers site, on job platforms and on social media.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mentions the job requirements, responsibilities and benefits in a way that is accessible and attractive to candidates.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is based on an approved requisition.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A requisition<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is an internal document of the company, not intended for candidates.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is generally created by Hiring Managers and includes details about the desired candidate, the budget or the need for a new hire.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is a useful tool for tracking the entire recruitment process. It includes all requirements, notes, files, jobs and assigned candidates.
