Create a new requisition

The requisition justifies the need for recruiting and describes the essential characteristics of the future employee. It serves as the basis for writing the job ad, therefore it is important to include all the necessary details for the HR team to select the suitable candidates.

Add a requisition

To create a new requisition, go to the Requisitions menu in the navigation bar. In the upper right corner, press the button Add requisition.

Fill in the requisition details

Depending on your company’s form, you will need to complete fields such as:

Field name Description
Position title
The name of the position for which you need new colleagues. This field is always mandatory. Don’t worry if there are other requests with the same title. Each requisition automatically receives a unique ID to differentiate them.
Department
The name of the department for which you are recruiting. You can choose one of the existing options or create a new one. To create a new option, type its name in the field and then click the "Add" button that appears below.
Location
Choose an option from the list of locations. If you want to add a new option, type its name in the field and then click the "Add" button that appears below.
Number of positions
Choose the number of positions needed, meaning how many people need to be hired. Once the number of hired candidates reaches this value, the request will automatically move to the "Filled" status.
Gross salary
Enter the budgeted salary range for this position, choose the currency and the period (annually or monthly).
Recruiting reason
Choose the recruitment reason from the dropdown. If you choose either "Replacement" or "Other reason", a new input field will appear to enter the name of the replaced person or the reason for recruitment.
Contract duration
Choose between "Indefinite" and "Fixed". If you select "Fixed", you will also need to specify the number of months for the employment.
Position is budgeted
Choose between "Yes" and "No".
Position description and requirements
Include information about job responsibilities, requirements or why you need a new hire. This field is for internal use only and will not be visible to candidates.
Employment type
Choose one of the following: "Full-time", "Part-time", "Contract".
Seniority
Choose one of the following: "No experience", "Junior,", "Middle", "Senior", "Executive".
Schedule
Choose an option from the existing list. If you want to add a new option, type its name in this field and then click the "Add" button that appears below.
Direct supervisor
Choose a manager from the existing list. If you want to add a new manager, type their name in this field and then click the "Add" button that appears below.

Add new options to the dropdown lists

For some of the fields, you can add new options in case the existing ones aren't suitable. 

These fields are: Department, Location, Schedule and Direct supervisor.

If the option you need is not already in the dropdown list, you can create it like this: type its name, then click the "Add" button that appears below.

Save the requisition as a draft

If you have filled in the requisition details, but you are not ready to send it yet, click the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Your requisition will be saved with the status‎ „Draft”‎.

Submit requisition

After you have completed all the necessary details, you can submit the requisition. From the request page, click the Submit requisition‎ button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Submitting a request without an approval flow

If your company does not have an approval flow, the requisition you submitted will be automatically approved and its status will change from‎ „Draft”‎ to‎ „Approved”‎.
